Factory Default = Mixed

using only 11b rates.
11g only: Only stations using 802.11g cards can communicate with the modem.

If Enabled, the modem will not broadcast the SSID. Stations must configure the SSID
to match the Network Name (SSID) in order to connect to the modem.

when WEP is enabled, the risk of someone nearby accessing the modem is minimized.
