The following features are shared by all operation modes.
Character Entry
You can enter alphabet, numbers, and symbols. Use the dial pad to enter the desired characters.
1. Enter characters.
To enter George, press [4
GHI
] once, [3

] five times, [6
MNO

six times, [7
PQRS
] seven times, [4

] four times, and [3
DEF

five times.
2. Press [Menu] to finalize the entry.
NOTES:

To enter a character, press the dial pad key (repeatedly, if necessary) on which the character is printed,
until the desired character is displayed. When the character is displayed, press another dial pad key. If
you would like to enter another character that is printed on the same key you have just pressed, press
[#
until the desired character is displayed. When the character is displayed, press another dial pad key. If

If you have incorrectly entered a character, press [Clear] to delete it. The cursor will move back by one
character. Press and hold [Clear] for more than one second to delete the whole line.

You can insert characters to the cursor position. If the number of characters exceeds the limit, the
rightmost character will disappear.
