WIFI Smart Socket User Manual 

 

WiFi  smart  socket,  able  to  connect  internet  through  WiFi  connection,  is 

remotely  controllable  to  switch  on/off  electrical  devices  which  are  plugged 
into  the  sockets.  You  can  use  the 

  app  in  your  smart  phone  to 

control  the  socket  from  anywhere  when  your  smart  phone  is  on  internet. 
The smart WiFi socket can be used to power any electrical devices, such as 
fans,  lights,  water  heaters,  fountain,  etc.  The  socket  has  timer  function, 
countdown function, and USB charger on/off control.

1.This user manual is suitable for socket of BS, UL, SAA, and VDE standard.

Operation 

 

1.Download APP﹙Two Ways to Get the 
APP﹚ A . Scan QR-code on the package. 

 

B . Search 

 in Google Play﹙for android smart 

phone﹚; Search 

 in APP Store﹙for iPhone﹚. 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

 

 

A . Run the APP. 

 

B . Login with your account & password. Please register a new 
account if you don’t have. 

 

3.Configuration （Two Ways To Configure） 

 

Plug your WiFi socket into a wall outlet and press on/off button with 

different way to enter default configuration mode or AP configuration 
mode. The indicator LED flashes quickly in default mode but slowly in 
AP mode.

After connected , the LED turns on constantly, press the button on the main 

screen of Smart Life app in your smart phone to switch on/off power outlet, the 
power LED indicator turns on when socket is on or off when socket is off.

hotspot and type passwords of the hotspot. Then, open WiFi settings 
and connect to hotspot Smartlife-xxxx. Device is connected.

Click devices list and you will see Info at upper right corner, click 

Modify Device Name of your device. Click 

 

to update the latest version.

If you need to reset the socket, unplug it from the mains first. Then 

plug it in again and hold the button more than 5 seconds (less than 10 
seconds) until the LED indicator starts flashing quickly.

Plug your WiFi socket into a outlet, press the button manually to 

switch on/off the power for your appliances. Red LED off indicates off 
state, Red LED on indicates on state. 

 

Warning 

 

1. To prevent injury, this apparatus must be securely attached to the 

wall socket in accordance with the installation instructions. 

 
2. WiFi Socket shall remain operational after installation. 

 
3. The WiFi Socket may not work if there is a radio frequency 

interference in the operation . 

 
4. You may be required to reset the WiFi Socket when radio 

interference occurs. 

 
5. Indoor use only 

 
6. Keep it in dry and it is not allowed to use in bathroom and other 

damp locations. 

 
7. Please use it safely. It is not allowed to power appliances over the

Before using Echo to control your smart devices, make sure you 
meet the following conditions. 

• Stable Wi-Fi network which could access to Amazon server. (For mainland 

 

China users) 

 

• An Echo device, including Echo, Echo Tap, or Echo Dot. 

 

• An Amazon account. (If you don't have one, Please register first)。 

 

• Smart Life app and a related account. 

 

• Make sure there's at least one device under your Smart Life account, and 

the device's name could be easily recognized by Echo. 

 

 

You can skip this part if you've already add some devices to your Smart Life 
account, and in the meantime the devices' name are easily recognized. 

 

2.1 Download Smart Life app (Refer to App Instruction) 

 

You can scan the QR code below to download the Smart Life app： 

 

 

 

 

You can also search "Smart Life" in either App Store or Google Play 
to install the app. 

 

2.2 Register a Smart life account and sign in the app (Refer to App Instruction) 

 

Open the Smart Life app, tap "Register" to register an account, then 
sign in the app.

2.3 Add device and change device's name (Refer to App Instruction) 

 

Sign in with the Smart Life account, add the device, then change device 
name to a easily recognized word or phrase, like " bedroom light ". 

 

 

We suggest using web for configuration in mainland China since 
Alexa app is not available here. 

 

User can configure Echo through web or Alexa app.

We take app configuration as an example. Configuration through 
web and app are basically the same. 

 

3.1 Set up Echo with Alexa app 

 

You can skip this part if your Echo is already set up. 

 

1. Make sure your Echo device is energized. 

 

2. Make sure there's a stable Wi-Fi network which could access to 

Amazon server.

3. Open the Alexa app by tapping the app icon on your mobile device. 

 
4. Type in your Amazon account and password, then tap "SIGN IN". 

 

5. Tap the hamburger menu on the top left corner, select "Settings", 
then tap "SET UP A NEW DEVICE". 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

6. Select your Echo model, choose a proper languageo then tap "CONNECT TO Wi-Fi".

7. Long press the dot button on the top of your Echo device until the 
orange light shows up, then tap "CONTINUE". When your phone is 
connected to Echo, tap "CONTINUE". 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

8. Select a Wi-Fi to let Echo have the access to the internet. Type in the Wi-

Fi password, then tap "CONNECT". Echo may take several minutes to 
connect the network. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. Tap "CONTINUE" when Echo is connected to the network. After 
an introduction video, tap "CONTINUE" to finish the setup.

3.2 Link Smart Life account to Echo 

 

1. Tap "Skills" in the hamburger menu, then search "Smart Life". Select "Smart Life " 

and tap "ENABLE" to enable the Skill. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

2. You will be redirected to the account link page. Type in your Smart Life 

account and password, don't forget to select the country/region where your 
account belongs to. Then tap "Link Now" to link your Smart Life account. 
The country/region, the account, and the password must match with the 
exact content in Step 2.2 when you registered the account. When "Alexa 
has been successfully linked with Smart Life shows up, tap on the top left

4. Control your smart devices through Echo 

 

4.1 Discover devices 

 

Echo needs to discover your smart devices before it controls them. You 
can say "Alexa, discover devices" to Echo. Echo will discover devices 
which have already been added in the Smart Life app. 

You can also tap "DISCOVER" to discover the smart devices. 
Discovered devices will be shown in the list. 

 

Note: every time you change the device's name on Smart Life app, 
Echo must re-discover before you control them. 

 

4.2 Control devices by voice commands 

 

Now you can control your smart devices through Echo. You can use the 
following commands to control your devices (e.g., bedroom light ): 

 

• Alexa, turn on/off bedroom light 

 
• Alexa, set bedroom light to 50 percent. 

 
• Alexa, brighten/dim bedroom light. 

 

You can also set up groups in Alexa app. Tap "CREATE GROUP", give 
your group a name like "my smart lights", select devices to add them in 
this group, then tap "SAVE". 

 

Now you can control your devices by group. Try saying "Alexa, turn 
on my smart lights", all the lights strips are turned on!
