HOW IT WORKS
The Smart Cord allows for manual or Bluetooth power control using the A2DP Bluetooth Profile
of your device. If your device does not utilize this Stereo Bluetooth Profile, you will not be able
to remotely control the switch. This is a very common and standard profile use by most
Smartphones, including the top 10 as reviewed by PC Magazine in 2010.
Because the Smart Cord uses the audio path to transmit signals, you must PLAY this audio file
from a PAIRED Bluetooth Device to operate the switch. APPS exist for the various phone

A web based app also exists that can be used with computers or other devices that do not have
specifically design application.
Also, because the Bluetooth command is sent via the audio channel, any A2DP capable
Bluetooth device that can play audio files (mp3, wav, aif) may also function the Smart Cord.
All that you need to do is download the audio file by visiting the website above, pair your device
and play.
