D Transmitting a group call
The group call function allows you to transmit a DSC signal to
a specific group only.

] to enter the DSC menu.

ommending order.

appears at the channel comment indicator.
t Push [DSC•

] to transmit the group call.
• If Channel 70 is busy, the transceiver stands by until the channel
becomes clear.
• Routine category only is available.
y After the group call has been transmitted, the specified
channel (in step r) is selected automatically.
u Push and hold [PTT] to communicate your message to the
responding ship.
