Measuring BP with B.O.L.T
1.
On successful login of the B.O.L.T application, Select “How is my health” option to perform
Master Health checkup
or select “Check Vitals” option to perform individual test.
2. Confirm the Bluetooth device to turn-on.
3. Select the B.O.L.T device from the list of available Bluetooth devices and confirm.
4. Provide default password (1234/0000) for pairing your B.O.L.T device with mobile device on
your first time usage (only for android).
5. Wrap the cuff around the upper arm of the right hand above the elbow.
6. Ensure that the arrow in the BP cuff points the artery along the middle finger of the right hand
as discussed earlier in the Blood Pressure measurement procedure section.
7. Start the Blood Pressure measurement using the application screen.
8. Ensure that the person remains stable until the application displays the results.
9. On successful measurement, the Blood Pressure and Pulse rate are displayed and a copy of
reading will be mailed to your Near & Dear mail IDs on saving the data.
10. Multiple readings can be taken with atleast 1 minute interval by selecting the auto-reading
option.
Note: On Successful pairing of the mobile device, Bluetooth light stops
blinking in the gadget. Ensure that the save option is enabled for storing
the data in cloud.

Blood Pressure Classification for Adults
The World Health Organization (WHO) has created the following classification for assessing high
blood pressure (Hypertension). Please note that this table can give only a generic view as other
factors such as diabetes, obesity and smoking, also need to be considered for understanding the
different ranges. Consult with your physician for accurate assessment.
