General
Add-On Computer Peripherals 10GbE XENPAK transceiver module 10GBASE-LR-
XENPAK-AO is a hot pluggable in the highly integrated Serial optical transponder module
for high-speed, 10Gbit/s data transmission applications. That is usable in typical router line
card applications, Storage, IP network and LAN and compliant to XENPAK MSA. The
10GBASE-LR-XENPAK-AO is a fully integrated 10.3Gbit/s optical transceiver module that
consists of a 10.3Gbit/s optical transmitter and receiver, XAUI interface, Mux and DeMux
with clock and data recovery (CDR). This transceiver line uses a cooled 1310 DFB Laser
Diode to achieve 10K over standard single mode fiber as per 10GBASE-LR of the IEEE
802.3ae specification..
