1000, but it also has a built-in Ethernet Port and a PC Card Slot, enabling it, if con-

nected to a Broadband Internet Connection to read Audio/Video/Picture content 
straight from a PC with the KiSS PC-Link Software as well as playing Internet 
Radio Station with WebRadio. WebRadio, with its friendly interface provides the 
user with a few thousands radio stations to choose from, all classified by genre 
and countries. The PC Card Slot placed at the back of the player, also adds a new 

feature: Wireless Connection. No more ethernet cables in the way, thanks to a 
simple setup on the player, this function will help the users keep their living room 
away  from  their  computer  room.  KiSS  provides  the  Access  Point  and  PC  Card 
(IEEE 802.11b) as extra accessories.  As all KiSS DVD players, the KiSS DP-1500 
can play all DivX

®

 files,  3.11, 4 and 5.  It can also play MPEG-4, XviD files on the 

video side. It also comes complete with the standard CD/MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Jpeg, 
CD-RW and DVD+-RW playback. As KiSS is keen to keep a close relationship 
with its customers, new firmware updates are regularly available on our website. 
Updating a player remains a simple operation that will enable bug fixes and new 
features to run on the player.

The big new feature with the KiSS DP-1500 is the ethernet connection found on its back as well as a PC card Slot for Wireless Connection, Access Point 
and PC Card available as accessories. Connected to a Broadband Internet connection it will enable your DVD player to read files (movies, pictures or 
music) straight from your PC, as well as listen to Internet radio. 

Thanks to its ethernet/wireless connection, the DP-1500 is the only player on the market to provide users with a direct connection to the Internet. This 
internet connection enables the KiSS DP-1500 to play internet radio. Just select this feature on the Player, and you will have access to a few thousand 
radio stations that can be streamed and played on the DP-1500.

KiSS PC-Link is a software that enables the KiSS DP-1500 user to play music, see pictures and view movies from a PC to the DivX compatible DVD player 
thanks to the ethernet connection found on the back of the player. KiSS PC-Link is a user-friendly software to install on a PC running at least Windows 
98, it easy to select any media files on a PC’s hard disk.

To tackle long and too technical setup problem, KiSS introduces a Five Step Quick Setup to its DP-1500 model. As soon as the player is plugged-in for 
the first time, a clear and user friendly graphic interface asks the user to select its language, video connection, screen size, audio connection and enter 
its IP address. Once the selection has been made, the player is ready to be used.
