With ZyXEL Wireless Super G Technology, you enjoy wireless transmission 

rate of up to 108Mbps (twice that of IEEE 802.11g devices) when connected 

to other ZyXEL Super G APs and Routers. The G-170S is also IEEE 802.11g 

compliance and backward compatible with IEEE 802.11b standards. The 

increase in transmission speed allows you to enjoy bandwidth-demanding 

applications (such as video and audio streaming).

ZyXEL G-170S also provides an always-protected wireless network with 

standards-based security features: WEP, IEEE 802.1x/WPA, IEEE 

802.11i/WPA2.

With these advanced security features, you can encrypt your data and also 

only allow authorized users to access the network. Thus these further 

protect your wireless communication from being eardropped.

ZyXEL’s utility allows you to set up network connection information and 

store the frequently-used network settings as a profile for reuse. In addition, 

you can move or roam between Access Points without configuring the 

network connection information every time.
