Nortel’s Ethernet Routing Switch (ERS)
5500 series is comprised of stackable
10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Layer 3
routing switches available in three
models — ERS 5510, 5520 and 5530

can choose ERS 5530, which supports
dual 10-Gigabit connectivity. Other
businesses can opt for a mixture of PoE
and non-PoE supporting units within
the same stack, which enables units to
be added to the wiring closet or core on
a convenient and flexible pay-as-you-
