The Dual Stacking XIM is shipped with a 0.5 meter cable. Other cable lengths are
available from ADTRAN. Refer to the list of available cables and their part
numbers below.

1.
Remove the cover from the option slot using a Phillips-head
screwdriver.

Slide the option module into the option slot until the module is firmly
seated against the chassis.

Secure the screws at both edges of the module with a screwdriver.
4.
Connect the cable to the associated device.
5.
Perform a manual reload of AOS or cycle the power on the main unit.
