Seize the brew group handle and pull it outwards.

While pulling the lever, remove the brew group.

Thoroughly wash the brew group with lukewarm water and carefully
clean the brew group fi lter.
Caution:
Do not use detergent or soap to clean the brew group.

Let the brew group air-dry thoroughly.

Thoroughly clean the inside of the machine using a soft, dampened
cloth.

Thoroughly clean the upper fi lter using a non-abrasive cloth, to re-
move any coff ee grounds.
Warning:
Danger of scalding! The upper fi lter is a hot component. Make sure
that the machine has cooled down, before cleaning. Perform the op-
eration when the machine has been turned off for at least one hour.
