When the server is to be installed into a rack, it is necessary to install two rack mount brackets onto the server chassis 
prior to installing the server into the rack. This data sheet covers the sequence of steps necessary to install rack mount 
brackets onto your server. Here is a high-level summary of these steps:

· Check the parts list of kit A6977-67001 or A6977-67002 for all parts.
· Install the rack mount brackets onto the server.
The rack mount brackets kit for the server consists of:

· Two rack mount brackets, left and right
· Six 6-32, Torx 15 screws
· This data sheet

1. Align the left-side rack mount bracket with the three captive screw slots on the server chassis. See Figure 1-1.

2. Secure the left-side rack mount bracket onto the chassis with three of the 6-32, T-15 screws.

3. Align the right-side rack mount bracket with the three captive screw slots on the server chassis.

4. Secure the right-side rack mounting bracket onto the chassis with three of the 6-32, T-15 screws.
