Removing the Processor Fan

Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 16.
Procedure

Loosen the captive screws that secure the processor fan to the computer base.

Gently lift the fan and disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3
Lift the fan away from the computer base.
