Wide, bright F1.8 lens 

that captures the world

The XQ1 has a bright F1.8-F4.9 lens with 4x optical zoom that covers 

25-100mm*. The lens configuration of 7 elements in 6 groups enables 

high resolution capture of the area in focus, and the highly-refractive 

aspherical lenses realize F1.8 brightness. 

All lenses are made of glass and 3 ED 

lenses are featured. Ghosting and flare are 

minimized with Fujinon's unique 

mu lt i-layer c oat ing tech nolog y 

"HT-EBC" (High-Transmittance Electron 

Beam Coating ), used on all lenses.

Optical low-pass filter-less architecture 

& Lens Modulation Optimizer

The optical low-pass filter-less architecture transmits extra light from 

the lens to the sensor enabling increased resolving power. The Lens 

Modulation Optimizer minimizes diffraction and chromatic aberration by 

digitally processing images to improve sharpness and clarity. This lets the 

sensor directly capture the high resolution performance of the XQ1 lens.

X's pride: 

2/3-inch 12M X-Trans CMOS II sensor

At 2/3", the sensor featured in the XQ1 is larger 

than the 1/2.3-inch and 1/1.7-inch size sensors 

featured in most compact cameras.  Its high image 

quality has been proven in the popular 

X20 camera and is well accepted in the 

world. The X-Trans CMOS II sensor is 

the second generation X-Trans sensor. 

It retains all the key characteristics of 

the first generation sensors which 

can be found in Fujifilm's flagship X 

series models.
