5. The Initial User & Password Setup screen displays. Click in the

6. The Initial Date & Time Setup screen displays. Click in the lists next to the 

fields to select the correct date and time. 

Confirm that the date/time settings are correct, then click

WD recommends setting the user name and password fields to protect 

unauthorized access to the Shared Storage Manager. Once set, record them in 
“Recording Your WD Product Information” on page 3.
