MIDISPORT 1x1 Quick Start Guide

Midisport 1x1 works with Windows XP* and Mac OS X computers by simply connecting it to an available

USB port. No additional driver software needs to be installed.

1. Connect the provided USB cable to Midisport 1x1 and to an available USB port on your computer.

2. Connect your MIDI keyboard’s MIDI output port to the MIDI input port of Midisport 1x1.

3. Connect the MIDI output port of Midisport 1x1 to the MIDI input port of your keyboard, synthesizer or

sound module.

4. Conﬁgure your MIDI capable music software to use Midisport 1x1 for incoming and outgoing MIDI

messages (please check your software’s documentation for instructions).

*Windows XP users who are planning to simultaneously use Midisport 1x1 with more than one application

at the same time need to install the Multi-Client drivers found on the included CD-ROM.
