die  materiaal  en  kwaliteit  betreffen.  Deze  waarborg  is  enkel  geldig  indien 

rekening  werd  gehouden  met  de  gebruiksaanwijzingen.  Bij  beschadiging  door 
gebruikmaking van geweld, misbruik en ondeskundig gebruik of door reparatuur

Before  starting  to  use  the  stimulator  for  the  first  time  you  must  read  the 

instructions  very  carefully.  Before  you  use  the  stimulator  or  switch  it  on  you 
must,  above  all,  take  the  following  precautions:  otherwise  you  will  use  the 

stimulator incorrectly: 

 

- Carry out a visual check for any signs of damage; 
-  Ensure  that  the  stimulator  is  not  near  to  anything  containing  a  liquid;  the 
stimulator is not  

  protected against the penetration of liquids (IP 20); 

-  Check  that  the  accessories  needed  for  activating  the  stimulator 
(electrodes, connections 

  etc.) are to hand (please refer to the contents listed above.). 

The  electrical  impulse  stimulator  has  been  developed  for  use by  an  adult in 
good health. Special care needs to be taken under the following circumstances: 

- 

Pace-maker (particularly a demand pace-maker) 

- 

Serious heart rhythm abnormality  

- 

Acute illness 

- 

Epilepsy 

- 

Psychoses 

- 

Multiple sclerosis 

- 

Inflammation of the veins 

- 

Close to skin wounds and cuts 

- 

Pregnancy 

- 

Abnormal blood pressure 

- 

High temperature 

Nevertheless,  the  stimulator  may  be  used  in  any  of  the  above  conditions, 
provided that your doctor agrees first. If you are in any doubt concerning the use 

of  the stimulator or  are suffering  from any  pain  of unknown  cause,  you should 

consult your doctor.  

When you are being medically treated for any reason, the stimulator should only 
be used under the instructions of your doctor. 

The  period  allowed  for  recovery  after  you  have  used  the  stimulator  should 

always be at least as long as the period you have used it. This precaution will 

ensure  that  the  muscle  will  again  be  completely  relaxed  before  the  next 
massage.  

Everyone  needs  a  certain  amount  of  time  before  the  stimulator  can  use  the 

stimulator on a higher setting. In particular, if your muscles have been subjected
