performance SAS disks, low-cost/
high-capacity SATA drives, or a 
combination of both.
Product Overview
The Intel® RAID Controller SRCSASRB is one in a family of 
Intel first-generation RAID solutions to use RAID-On-Chip 
(ROC) technology, delivering state-of-the-art power and 
performance. Support for RAID 6 and 60 strengthens data 
protection capabilities in the SRCSASRB by ensuring data 
integrity, even if two drives fail simultaneously.
Designed to perform well in both high-I/O transactions and 
high-bandwidth processing, the SRCSASRB features SAS 
protocol support, SATA native command queuing (NCQ), and 
256 MB of integrated 667 MHz write cache. This combination 
allows mainstream applications such as databases and  
collaboration tools to run faster than ever.
