Intended use
1.
This product is intended to convert a car cigarette lighter socket into two sockets. The plug is to be powered by
12 or 24 V/DC cigarette lighter socket. Make sure the total current consumption of all connected electrical load
does not exceed 5 A. Never connect the device to any other power supply. It is only authorized to be operated
inside the car and not outdoors. Do not expose it to moisture.
This product is e-registered for the operation in vehicles and thus meets the requirements of the
applicable European and national guidelines.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons. Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to
associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly
and keep them for further reference.

The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.

The product must not be exposed it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, or

Never insert the cigarette lighter into the output connector of the plug. The device would then overload

and be damaged.
Check the product for any damage before using it. If the device is damaged, do not put it into operation.

Only a 12 V or 24 V direct current supply system on board (negative pole of the battery at the car body)
•
can be used as power supply. Never connect the device to a different power supply.
Do not spill water on the product. There is a high risk of fire. If any liquid should enter the device,

immediately disconnect it from the power supply network and contact a specialist.
Miscellaneous
Servicing, adjustment or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/ specialist workshop.

Installation

When installing the 12 V plug consider the risk of accidents that can be caused by loose
appliances in the case of an accident. Therefore mount it safely and in a place where it
cannot become a danger for the passengers.
Never install the appliance near an airbag or close to where it would open, or where it
could restrict the sight of the driver.
If you are in doubt when selecting a place for installation, consult your car dealer.
The max. load capacity of the 12 V plug is 5 A. The sum of the maximum usage of all
connected devices cannot be more than this value.
Choose a suitable area for installation that is close to the cigarette lighter of you car.
1.
Connect the 12 V plug to the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle.
2.
Plug in the sockets of the appliances to be connected into the adapters of the 12 V plug.

Fuse replacement

If a fuse needs to be replaced you need to replace it with a fuse of the specified type and
nominal current (see “Technical Data”). It is absolutely not permitted to repair fuses or to
bridge the fuse holder.
Pull out the connection plug of the 12 V plug of the cigarette lighter of your car.
1.
Unscrew the fastening at the top of the connection plug.
2.
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the same type.
3.
Screw the fastening back on the connection plug.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
