11.1.3 System requirements
Before using the SDK, please ensure that the following system requirements are met
by the PC and development environment.

11.1.4 Installing the SDK
To install the SDK, proceed with the following installation instructions:

file into an empty folder while
ensuring there are no blank spaces in the path to it (that is, avoid to have folder
names such as Program Files/, My Documents/, and similar in the installation
path)
NOTE
If the SDK installation path contains any blank spaces in its directory names, errors
indicating path issues will occur when compiling reference and custom applications
, if not already installed on
the PC. Be sure to install only the supported version of IAR Embedded
Workbench, as specified in
4. Add a Windows environment variable named
IAR_AVR32_HOME
, and set its value
to the installation directory of IAR Embedded Workbench (for a default
installation, it is
C:\Program Files\IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench 6.11
).
