MK160 : Operating Instructions :
This kit is activated when the backlight of a cellular phone comes on with an incoming call. The backlight needs to remain lit continuously (i.e. it shouldn't flash) while the cellular is ringing. Some phones or models may be incompatible with
this kit or may require a different backlight setting for incoming calls. Consult the manual of your cellular. To operate this kit, you need a cellular phone and a subscription to a provider or a prepaid card. Keep in mind that although there is
some protection against unwanted calls, the unit can still be triggered by prank callers, calls/messages from the provider, etc…
The circuit must be used to operate non-critical equipment only. Do not use the circuit to steer a life support system or any other application where unintended operation might harm people or damage property.

Installation and connection : To operate this kit, you need an enclosure or location that is completely sealed off to daylight. Mount the phone so that the LDR sensor can be bent towards the display of the phone. Adjust the sensitivity

Mode selection : Choose one of two operating modes :
SW1 DIP4 OFF : ON/OFF mode (toggle) : two calls in a row turn the relay ON, one call turns it OFF (*Maximum reliability is achieved when the second call is executed within 1 minute of the first call).
SW1 DIP4 ON : ON with auto turn-off timer : a call turns the relay ON for the selected duration. (Select the desired duration with DIP1-3, see table on PCB).

Important : disconnect the power supply before changing the dip switch settings.

Werkingsmode selecteren : kies één van de twee werkingsmodes :

Installation et connexion : l'opération de ce kit demande un coffret que l'on peut isoler complètement de la lumière du jour. Installez le GSM de sorte que le capteur LDR peut être plié vers l'afficheur de votre GSM. Instaurez le réglage de
sensibilité RV1 de sorte que LD1 ne s'illumine que lorsque le rétro-éclairage du GSM est activé.

Sélection du mode d'opération : choisissez un des deux modes d'opération :
SW1 DIP4 OFF : mode ON/OFF (impulsion) : deux appels de suite activent le relais*, un appel désactive le relais (*Pour une fiabilité optimale if faut exécuter le deuxième appel dans la minute après le premier appel).
SW1 DIP4 ON : ON via le timer de désactivation automatique : un appel active le relais (ON) pendant la période souhaitée (réglez le durée avec DIP1-3, regardez la table sur la plaque).
