Carburettor linkage
A visual check of the carburettor barrel is possible after removing or before attaching the air filter.
If necessary, readjust idle position (carburettor barrel opened max. 0.7 mm) on the idle speed adjustment screw (choke end stop screw).
The idle speed adjustment screw is the little screw on the opposite side of the carburettor slide.
The throttle/brake linkage works as follows:
Full throttle (A): Carburettor slide fully pulled out, brake has no effect
Idle speed (B): Carburettor slide fully retracted, adjusting rings are loose on the brake levers.
Brakes (C):
Throttle linkage presses against spring resistance, brake linkage presses forward against the fully moved brake lever.
Function check of the throttle/brake servo
• Move the lever on the remote control (channel 2) towards the back (full throttle position). The carburettor slide must now be completely pulled out, the
carburettor barrel opened to its maximum. The brakes are inactive.
• If the carburettor slider does not respond to the remote control, switch the servo reverse for channel 2 to "REV" to reverse the rotating direction.
• If the carburettor slide does not move up completely, correct the servo travel at the trim (channel 2) of the remote control.
• Release the lever on the remote control.
Now the carburettor slide should go back to idle position (carburettor barrel opened approx. 1 mm).
The brake is still inactive.
• Press the lever on the remote control forward all the way (brake).
The carburettor slide must remain in idle position (carburettor barrel opened approx. 1 mm).
The servo lever at the carburettor linkage pulls against a spring resistance, the servo lever at the brake linkage controls the brake lever.
• Release the lever on the remote control again. Now the brakes should disengage again.
• You can adjust the brake linkage by moving the adjusting rings at the brake control lever accordingly.
