When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and
personal injury, including the following:

❑ Read all instructions.

❑ This outdoor use product is for household

use only. 

❑ Do not insert foreign objects into this

product.

❑ Use extension cord marked SJW-A or

equivalent.

❑ Use only extension cords which have plugs

and receptacles which accept the product’s
plug. Replace or repair damaged cords.

❑ The electrical rating of the extension cord

must be as great as the electrical rating of
the product.

❑ Don’t Abuse Cord—Never carry product by

cord or yank it to disconnect from
receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil, and
sharp edges.

❑ Disconnect the product from the power

supply when not in use, before servicing,
when changing bulbs, cleaning, and similar
actions.

❑ Outdoor extension cords must be used with

outdoor use products and are surface
marked with suffix letters "W-A" and with a
tag stating "Suitable for Use with Outdoor
Appliances".

❑ Connection to an extension cord should be

kept dry and off the ground.

❑ Store product indoors when not in use—out

of reach of children.

❑ Do not clean this product with a water

spray or similar method.
