4. 

To access the scanner Kernel menu, simultaneously press the <7> and <1>  

and the 

key in the lower right front corner of the scanner. Wait  

for the scanner to beep three times and then press <3> to select the Update 
Kernel option.  

 

Simultaneously Press <7> + <1>, then 

, 

after three beeps, press <3> 

 

5.  When the Load Program menu appears, press <1> (Cradle-IR) to start the firmware 

update upload process. 

 

 

Select <1> (Cradle - IR)
