FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN
NEW!
Surf the Web and Make Phone Calls
Over the Internet With One Device
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN combines a broadband
router with a VoIP and PSTN PBX. FRITZ!Box Fon
WLAN connects two analog terminal devices to
Internet and PSTN. For fixed-line telephony,
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN supports analog and ISDN
lines. FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN also provides dual
mode Internet access, through an ADSL modem
or via Ethernet (similiar to the "ATA" mode of
operation).
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN provides an Ethernet inter-
face to connect additional computers or networking
devices and a USB port. In addition, clients confor-
ming to 802.11g/g++/b can be integrated to form a
local wireless network.
Color-coded cables and sockets, a concise quick-
start guide, and a CD-driven, interactive set-up
(including WLAN installation) make getting started
significantly easier. The user interface is a clearly
structured, web-based front-end. The PBX is also
operable by means of telephone key codes. The
software package FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN Start
Center, optionally installed with the FRITZ!Box Fon
WLAN setup, is based on UPnP and provides
additional benefits.
Internet Telephony Without a
Computer
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN makes Internet telephony
as easy as a phone call should be. After registration
with an Internet telephony provider, the connected
phones can be used for incoming and outgoing
calls with all the convenience you are used to.
Moreover, FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN provides the fea-
tures of a conventional PBX system, including
Caller ID, call forwarding and three-party calls. At
the same time, you can continue receiving calls at
your present phone number thanks to FRITZ!Box
Fon WLAN's connection to the telephone line. This
award-winning architecture drastically simplifies
VoIP marketing for service providers. For broad-
band customers, it simplifies getting started in
Internet telephony. AVM is one of Europe's lead-
ing manufacturers of ISDN PBXs and ADSL ter-
minal equipment.
