Turning the 

 knob controls the relative softness 

between the inside and outside wipe border edges, when the

 and

 buttons are turned on. The last value of 

 is remembered when either

 or

 is 

turned off.

toggles control of the wipe border on and off. When 

is on, the adjacent 

 and 

 knobs become 

active for modifying the wipe border. The wipe border is 
functional on transition and preset wipes only.

The 

 knob sets the width of the wipe border when

is on. When

is turned off, the last value of 

 is 

remembered and is recalled when

is turned on again.

The 

 knob controls the opacity or translucence of the 

wipe border when

is on. The 

 value is 

remembered when

is turned off.

 adjusts the wipe pattern size for preset patterns 

used in non-transitional wipe patterns. It is also used to adjust the 
size of masks that use the wipe generator.

The

 button toggles control of the 

 knob 

(horizontal to vertical ratio) of the wipe pattern on and off.

Turning the 

 knob clockwise from mid-position 

stretches the horizontal axis of the wipe pattern. Similarly, turning 
the knob counter-clockwise from mid-position stretches the 
vertical axis.
