Chapter 9: Output Sharpener Filter Controls

Output Sharpening Strength — The Output Sharpening Strength
slider is the main global sharpening control in the Output
Sharpener filter, which controls the strength of the output
sharpening applied to the overall image. Increasing the Output
Sharpening Strength slider will increase the sharpening applied
to the image and decreasing the Output Sharpening Strength
slider will decrease the overall strength of the sharpening
applied to the image.

Selective Sharpening
The Selective Sharpening section of the Output Sharpener filter
controls the selective sharpening applied to the image. The
Selective Sharpening section can be toggled on and off with the
preview checkbox to help show the effect of just the Selective
Sharpening techniques applied to the image.
