Lamp Replacement
Lamp Replacement
The lamp should be replaced when it reaches the end of its life (typically 2000 hours), or
sooner if a noticeable degradation in brightness occurs. When you replace a lamp, you
should replace the filters as well.

Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord. Allow the projector to cool down for
approximately 45 minutes prior to removing the lamp assembly for replacement.

Loosen and remove the rear Lamp Cover screw.

Slide the Lamp Cover in the direction of the
arrow to remove it.

Loosen the two, captive lamp assembly

Grasp the lamp assembly handle and pull gently,
removing the lamp module from the projector

5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The VX-33i lamp is under high pressure. Handle it with great care at
all times. Lamps may explode if dropped or mishandled.
