Drive Power/Open Switch
z
Slide the switch to the right to open the disk cover. This works only when the power 
is on.
z
Each time you slide the switch to the left, the drive power will turn on or off. 
This works only when Windows has started up.
Latch
When the display is closed and the latch is locked, the computer goes into standby or 
hibernation mode. (Π“Standby/Hibernation Functions” in onscreen Reference Manual)

When the computer is in standby or hibernation mode, open the display to restart 
operations.
Microphone Jack
Use only a monaural condenser microphone (miniature jack).  Using an input source 
other than a monaural condenser microphone may not allow audio to be input or may 
damage the equipment.
Headphone Jack
Use this jack to connect headphones or amplifier-equipped speakers. Audio output from 
the internal speaker is disabled when headphones or external speakers are connected.
