1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
The HX270E is a submersible, miniature 5-Watt portable two-way VHF ma-
rine transceiver. The transceiver has all allocated USA, international, or
Canadian channels. It has an emergency channel 16 which can be immedi-
ately selected from any channel by pressing the 16/9 key.
