while scanning

channels. The quiet
code feature
automatically turns
on when a signal is
detected on a
channel and quiet
code, and turns off
after the signal
disappears.

During scan, the
radio will not receive
Direct Call data.

When you do not press
a key after 20 seconds,
while in the Menu, the
radio exits the Menu
without saving your
settings.
