These layouts are effective in maximizing the heat pattern and overall performance of the heater. All heaters can be common vented or individually vented (See Page 37, Section 9) depending on the bu...20• A minimum of 10' (3 m) of tubing on TF-120/160 and/or a minimum of 15' (4.5 m) of tubing on the TF-200/250/300/350/380 is required between the burner and the Elbow or U Tube.20• The design and installation must adhere to the rules and guidelines located in this manual (See Page 16, Section 7 and Page 37, Section 9).20• Review venting options before selecting a layout.206.1 TF-380 - 4 Elbow Design (Common Vent)206.2 TF-350 - 4 Elbow Design (Common Vent)206.3 TF-300 - Double "U" Design (Common Vent)206.4 TF-160 - Single Elbow Design (Individual Vents)216.5 TF-160 - Double "L" Design (Individual Vents)216.6 TF-250 - Combination "L" and "U" Design (Individual Vents)21SECTION 7: Heater Installation22Figure 14: Critical Hanger Placement23Figure 15: Linear Heater Assembly Overview24Figure 16: Linear Heater Layout Overview25Figure 17: Linear Heater Layout Overview (Continued)26Step 7.1 Burner Tube Installation27Step 7.2 Burner Installation27Step 7.3 Tube Clamp Package Installation28Step 7.4 Coupling and Tube Assembly28Step 7.4.1 Coupling and Tube Assembly (Continued)29Step 7.4.2 Coupling and Tube Assembly (Continued)29Step 7.5 Turbulator Installation307.6 Reflector Installation31Step 7.6.1 Reflector, U-Clip and Reflector Support Installation32SECTION 8: Optional Heater Accessories338.1 U-Tube Configuration33Figure 18: U-Tube Heater Assembly Overview34Figure 19: U-Tube Heater Layout Overview35Figure 20: U-Tube Heater Layout Overview (Continued)368.2 Elbow Package Configuration37Step 8.2.1 Elbow Installation37Step 8.2.2 Elbow Installation37Step 8.2.3 Reflector Joint Installation37Step 8.2.4 Reflector Joint Installation38Step 8.2.5 Reflector Joint Detail38Figure 21: Reflector Joint Detail388.3 Reflector Side Extension39Step 8.3.1 Bracket Installation39Step 8.3.2 Side Reflector Installation398.4 Lower Clearance Shield Installation40Step 8.4.1 Shield Support Strap Assembly408.5 Two-Foot Decorative Grille Installation40Step 8.5.1 Grille Installation40Step 8.5.2 Frame Shield Installation41Step 8.5.3 Reflector Side Extension Installation for Decorative Grilles418.6 Protective Grille Installation42Step 8.6.1 Silicone Cap Installation42Step 8.6.2 Grille End Cap Installation42Step 8.6.3 Grille Installation42SECTION 9: Venting439.1 Venting Requirements439.1.1 United States Requirements439.1.2 Canadian Requirements439.2 Unvented Operation439.3 Horizontal Venting439.4 Vertical Venting449.5 Unvented Operation Tube Termination44Figure 22: Tube Termination449.6 Length Requirements449.7 Horizontal Ventilation 4" (10 cm) Pipe449.8 Vertical Ventilation 4" (10 cm) Pipe459.9 Flexible Boot Installation (Single Vent)459.10 Common Sidewall Venting469.11 Vertical Ventilation 6" (15 cm) Pipe469.12 Flexible Boot Installation (Common Vent)479.13 Outside Combustion Air Supply489.13.1 Length Requirements489.13.2 Vertical Outside Air Supply489.13.3 Horizontal Outside Air Supply49SECTION 10: Gas Piping50Figure 23: Gas Connection with Flexible Gas Hose51SECTION 11: Wiring5211.1 Line Voltage Thermostat Wiring5211.2 Low Voltage Thermostat and Relay Wiring5311.3 Internal Wiring5411.4 Ladder Diagram5411.5 Electrical Connection to the Burner55SECTION 12: Operation and Maintenance5612.1 Sequence of Operation561. Turn the thermostat up, the blower motor will energize.562. When the motor approaches nominal running RPM, the pressure switches will close and activate the ignition module.563. After a 45 second purge period, the ignition module then opens the gas valve and energizes both spark igniters. The light will be illuminated at any time the gas valve is energized.564. When both flames are established, the sparking sequence ceases.565. If both flames are not established during the ignition sequence, the ignition module closes the gas valve and purge begins. The module will try two additional times for ignition with purge between trials. If ignition is not established during eith...566. After lock out has occurred, the ignition module must be re-set by turning down the thermostat (disconnecting power) for five seconds, and raising it again to the desired temperature.567. When the thermostat is satisfied, all power to the heater is shut off.5612.2 To Shut Off Heater5612.3 To Start Heater5612.4 Pre-Season Maintenance and Annual Inspection5612.5 Maintenance Checklist57SECTION 13: Troubleshooting5913.1 Troubleshooting Flow Chart6013.2 Manifold Gas Pressure Setting62SECTION 14: Replacement Parts63SECTION 15: General Specifications6515.1 Material Specifications6515.1.1 Reflectors6515.2 Heater Specifications6515.2.1 Ignition6515.3 Suspension Specifications6515.4 Controls Specifications65General Specifications for heaters are as follows:65*See Page 5, Section 3 for clearances to combustibles.65SECTION 16: The ROBERTS GORDON® VANTAGE® TF Warranty67サイズ: 12.7MBページ数: 72Language: Englishマニュアルを開く
