Total package software
HP StorageWorks Command View XP Advanced Edition software provides centralized, web-based management
for XP disk arrays. It reduces your total cost of ownership by enabling collaboration among global team

Optional
HP StorageWorks LUN
Configuration & Security
Manager XP
HP StorageWorks LUN Configuration and Security Manager XP combines LUN configuration and security into a
single, integrated, and flexible product solution. Now you can add and delete paths, create custom-sized
volumes, and configure foolproof LUN security to provide controlled, secure access to data stored on your XP
disk array—preventing unauthorized servers from accessing your data.
Required
HP Storage Essentials
HP Storage Essentials Enterprise Edition delivers integrated heterogeneous functionality for SAN management,
storage resource management, provisioning, and application infrastructure monitoring. It includes a management
console and portfolio of valued-added modules. All modules share the same Web services architecture for
anytime, anywhere management.
Optional
HP StorageWorks Business
Copy XP
HP StorageWorks Business Copy XP creates full copies and snapshots. Using the snapshot capability, Business
Copy XP can make nearly instantaneous copies of data from XP arrays for development, testing or backup,
without ever interrupting your online production.
Optional
HP StorageWorks Continuous
Access XP
HP StorageWorks Continuous Access XP Software are high availability data and disaster recovery tools enabling
data mirroring between local and remote XP disk arrays. They provide continuous availability for your important
data and protect you from catastrophic failures.
Optional
HP StorageWorks External
Storage XP
HP StorageWorks External Storage XP allows you to connect external storage devices on XP10000 and XP12000
disk arrays. Supported devices include HP MSA, EVA, and XP; EMC, HDS, and IBM disk arrays. External
Storage XP allows you to provision an XP solution to optimize return on IT investment—letting you focus high-
performance/high availability native XP capacity against your most mission-critical data while hosting less
critical datasets on cost optimized disk array subsystems.
Optional
HP StorageWorks XP Disk/Cache
Partition
HP StorageWorks Storage XP Disk/Cache Partition allows resources on a single XP Array to be divided into
separately configurable and manageable array “domains” focused to meet critical host requirements.  A single
XP can, in effect, be provisioned as a number of distinct subsystems that are independently and securely
managed.  Partitions can be made on the cache, disks, and ports.
Optional
HP StorageWorks Cluster
Extension XP
HP StorageWorks Cluster Extension XP software offers protection against system downtime from a variety of faults,
failures, and disasters. It enables flawless integration of an XP disk array’s remote mirroring capabilities with
high-availability server clustering solutions, including clusters covering metropolitan distances and based on SUN,
AIX, Linux, and Microsoft systems (similar functionality exists for HP-UX servers with HP cluster software).
