"Super VHS ET" Capable of recording over 400 lines of high resolu-
tion on conventional VHS Tapes. The brand-new technology "Super VHS
ET (Expansion Technology)" makes it possible to record Super VHS quality on
Standard VHS tapes. The new "Super VHS ET" feature on Super VHS decks
will allow users to record high-resolution Super VHS signals on the most
widely available VHS cassettes, thus delivering over 400 lines of resolution. In
turn, the new technology allows more users to easily enjoy higher-resolution
which previously had been available only to owners of Super VHS decks using
Super VHS cassette tapes. The technology will substantially expand the scope
of higher-quality home picture recording and the penetration of Super VHS.

S-VHS
More than 400 lines of horizontal resolution, (VHS 240 lines) and 
separate luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) signal processing. This 
provides Best picture quality.
S-VHS ET (S-VHS Expansion Technology)

400 lines picture quality can be recorded on standard tape. This allow
low running cost (same as normal recording on standard tape) for 
perfect picture quality.

The DA 4 Head design ensures a perfect still, interference free slow motion
& frame-by-frame advance picture while another 2 heads are added to 
provide high quality Stereo Hi-fi sound both in Playback & Recording. By 
connecting the audio output to a Hi-fi Audio System, you will be able to enjoy
superb sound for the complete Home cinema experience.
