Select function.
Set the tones on the telephone to 
suit your requirements.
Ringer setting
Activate/deactivate the ringer or re-
duce it to a short beep.
Silent alert
To avoid the disturbance caused by a 
ringing phone, you can activate the 
silent alert function as an alterna-
tive. The silent alert can be switched 
on in addition to the ring tone. This 
function is deactivated when the 
battery is being charged and acces-
sories are connected (except the 
headset).
Volume
Set different volumes for types of 
call/functions.

 Calls
The same melody is set for all callers 
whose phone numbers are saved in 
the same address book or SIM.
Group calls
The same melody is set for all callers 
whose phone numbers belong to the 
same group.
Other calls
The same volume is set for caller 
whose phone numbers are not 
saved.
More melodies
You can set up different melodies for 
Messages/Alarm clock/Startup 
mel./Shutdown mel./Sound rec.
Sound recorder
Use the sound recorder to record 
voice memos and social sounds for 
use as ring tones. 
New recording

Select. The remaining 
time available as well as 
the recording time are 
shown in the display.
Start another application as follows
The recording display appears:

A brief tone sounds when 
the recording starts. 
D
End recording.
The recording is saved 
with a timestamp in the 
file system in Sounds.

Additional information
Please make sure you have accepted the 
call before holding the phone to your ear. 
This will avoid damage to your hearing from 
loud ringtones.
