Calculating the message storage capacity
Modular Messaging supports the GSM and G.711 encoding formats.
Table 13-4 shows the storage spaces required to encode voice using the 
GSM and G.711 formats.
Note: These calculations use the following definitions:
1024 bytes = 1 KB
1024 KB = 1 MB
Storage space available on the MAS
The maximum hours available on the MAS for storage of Call Answer 
messages are :

The hours of storage for offline Call Answer message storage are used 
when the message store is not available.
