Status Icons indicate the various operating characteristics of the radio. The icons show operating modes 
and conditions and appear on the third line of the display (see Table 10-3). The battery icon indicates 
approximate level only, based on battery voltage. 

 

 

– “Busy” transmitting or receiving. 

 

 – Special call mode (individual or telephone). 

 

 – During all radio transmissions. 

 

 – Transmit at low power. 

 – transmit at high power. 

 

 – Battery charge indicator. 

 

 – Low battery indicator. 

 

 – Indicates the current channel is set up as an analog channel. 

 

 – Group or channel in scan list. 

 

 – Priority 2 group or channel. 

 

 – Priority 1 group or channel. 

 

 (rotates clockwise) – Scan mode enabled. 

 – Scan is disabled. 

 

 – Transmit in encrypt mode. 

 – Receiving an encrypted call. 

 

 – Channel Guard enabled. 

 – Channel Guard is disabled. 

 

 – Indicates the current channel is set up as a ProVoice or Aegis channel.

 

 – Indicates the current channel is set up as a Project 25 (P25) channel.
