AF MODE
In P, S, M, and C modes (pp. 42–46), this option
controls how the camera selects the focus area
when Intelligent Face Detection is off (pg. 22). Re-
gardless of the option selected, the camera will
focus on the subject in the center of the monitor
when macro mode is on (pg. 27).
