Setting Up the Matrix X4-C Chassis

3-8 Matrix X4-C Chassis Setup

To rack‐mount the Matrix X4‐C chassis, proceed as follows:

1.

If you installed the optional mid‐mount brackets, skip to Step 3.

2.

Lift the chassis onto the support brackets and use 18 screws (nine per side) to secure the 
chassis to the rack. As shown in 

, start with the bottom holes and work toward the 

top of the chassis. Chassis rack mounting is now complete.

3.

Using 20 screws, attach the mid‐mounted chassis to the rack, as shown in

Warning: We recommend you use a forklift or other mechanical device to lift and hold the chassis.
