Heat Mode Selection 
Select your desired heat settings by pressing the 

Mode Button to cycle through the heat settings. An 

indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the selected 

setting/mode is activated: 

The heater will run continuously at 1500W. 

The heater will run continuously at 750W. 

The heater will cycle between high (at 1500W) and low 

(at 750W) heat settings to provide heat. 

Your heater is equipped with a digital thermostat that 

allows you to set your heater to a precise comfort level 

by pressing the Thermostat Button. 
To preset a precise comfort level, press the Thermostat 

Button to adjust the temperature level ranging from 

65°F to 85°F. The corresponding Temperature 

Indicator will illuminate once selected. When the preset 

temperature is reached, the heater will shut off. When 

the room temperature drops below the preset 

temperature, the heater will automatically turn on again 

to maintain the preset temperature level.  
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle on and off to 

maintain the preset temperature. Raise the thermostat 

setting to prevent the heater from cycling. 
NOTE: To shut the heater off at any setting, press the 

Power Button (

) until all indicator lights shut off. The 

digital thermostat has memory; it will remember the last 

temperature setting before the heater is turned off. 

However, if the heater is unplugged, the digital 

thermostat will no longer remember the previous 

temperature setting. You will need to reset the digital 

thermostat if the heater is unplugged. 

This heater is equipped with 12-Hour Auto Shut-off Timer 

feature. This allows you to program your heater to shut 

off automatically after running for 4-hour, 8-hour or 

12-hour intervals. 
1.  Press the Timer Button ( ) to cycle through 4-hour, 

8-hour or 12-hour options. 

2.  Select your desired interval for the heater to shut-off 

automatically. The corresponding hour indicator light 

will illuminate. 

3.  To cancel the Timer feature, press the Timer Button  

( ) until all Timer indicator lights go off.

As the heater warms the air, hot air rises into the room. 

This forces the cooler air down towards the heater, where 

it is warmed. This cycle continues until the desired 

temperature has been reached. There is no fan so 

operation is virtually silent.

1.  Carefully unpack your heater from box, please save 

the carton for off-season storage.

2.  Place heater on a firm, level surface. 

3.  Plug heater into a standard outlet. Once plugged in, 

the Power Light will illuminate.

 

NOTE: Avoid overloading your circuit by not using 

other high wattage appliances in the same outlet. At 

1500 watts, this unit draws 12.5 Amps.

4.  Operate heater by pressing the Power Button (

) 

and selecting the modes and settings according to 

your preference. 

 

Press the Power On/Off Button to turn the heater on. Once on, 

the heater will run in the 

Max Heat mode. Press the Power 

On/Off button to manually turn off the heater at any setting. 
NOTE: The Power Light will remain illuminated while unit 

is plugged in. 

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions 

should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric 

shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

1.   Read all instructions before using this heater.

2.   This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not 

let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use 

handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible 

materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, 

clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the 

front of the heater and keep them away from the 

sides and rear.

3.   Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is 

used by or near children or invalids and whenever 

the heater is left operating and unattended.

4.   Always unplug heater when not in use.

5.   Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or 

plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been 

dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, 

or return to authorized service facility for 

examination and/or repair.

6.   Do not use outdoors.

7.   This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, 

laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never 

locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or 

other water container.

8.   Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord 

with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not 

route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange 

cord away from traffic area and where it will not be 

tripped over.

9.   To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then 

remove plug from outlet.

10.  Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any 

ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an 

electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

11.  To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or 

exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, 

like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

12.  A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. 

Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or 

flammable liquids are used or stored.

13.  Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any 

other use not recommended by the manufacturer 

may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

14.  Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/ 

receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or 

relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

15.  When unplugging, be sure to pull by the plug and 

not the cord.

16.  If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions 

on Auto Safety Shut-off.

17.  DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or 

mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void 

your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user 

serviceable parts. All servicing should be performed 

by qualified personnel only.

18.  Discontinue use if plug or outlet is hot. It is 

recommended that the outlet be replaced if plug or 

outlet is hot to touch.

19.  The heater must not be located immediately below a 

socket-outlet. Do not use this heater in the 

immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a 

swimming pool.

lesiones personales al utilizar electrodomésticos, siga siempre 

las precauciones básicas de seguridad, incluyendo las que se

7.   Este calefactor no está diseñado para ser utilizado en 

baños, lavaderos y zonas similares de interiores. 

NUNCA coloque el calefactor donde pueda caerse 

dentro de una bañera u otro recipiente con agua.

8.   No coloque el cable debajo de la alfombra. No cubra el 

cable con alfombras, tapetes o artículos similares. No 

pase el cable por debajo de muebles o 

electrodomésticos. Coloque el cable lejos del área de 

tráfico y donde no se tropiece con él.

9.   Para desconectarlo, gire el control a la posición OFF, 

luego quite el enchufe del tomacorriente.

10.  No inserte ni permita que objetos extraños penetren 

en la ventilación o salida de aire ya que esto puede 

causar un choque eléctrico o incendio, o dañar el 

calefactor.

11.  Para evitar un posible incendio, no bloquee las 

entradas de aire o escape de ninguna manera. No lo 

use en superficies blandas, como una cama, donde las 

aberturas se pueden bloquear.

12.  Un calefactor tiene partes calientes y que pueden 

producir chispas en su interior. NO lo utilice en áreas 

donde se utiliza o se guarda gasolina, pintura o 

líquidos inflamables.

13.  Utilice este calefactor sólo como se describe en este 

manual. Cualquier otro uso no recomendado por el 

fabricante puede provocar incendios, descargas 

eléctricas o lesiones a personas.

14.  Siempre conecte el calefactor directamente a un 

tomacorriente de pared. Nunca lo use con un cable de 

extensión o con un tomacorriente múltiple.

15.  Al desenchufarlo, asegúrese de tirar del enchufe y no 

del cable.

16.  Si el calefactor no funciona, vea las instrucciones 

específicas del apagado automático de seguridad.

17.  NO intente reparar o ajustar ninguna función eléctrica 

o mecánica de esta unidad. El hacerlo invalidará la 

garantía. La unidad no contiene partes reparables por 

el usuario. Toda reparación debe ser realizada 

únicamente por personal calificado.

18.  Deje de usarlo si el cable o el enchufe se calienta. Se 

recomienda que reemplace el tomacorriente si el 

enchufe o el tomacorriente se calienta.

19.  El calefactor no se debe localizar inmediatamente 

debajo de un tomacorriente. No use este calefactor en 

áreas cercanas a un baño, una ducha o una piscina.

A medida que el calefactor calienta el aire, el aire 

caliente sube en la habitación. Esto obliga que el aire más 

frío baje hacia el calefactor, donde es calentado. Este ciclo 

continúa hasta que se alcance la temperatura deseada. 

No hay ventiladores por tanto la función es silenciosa. 

1.  Saque cuidadosamente el calefactor de la caja. 

Conserve la caja para guardar la estufa fuera de 

temporada. 

2.  Coloque el calefactor en una superficie firma y 

nivelada.

3.  Conecte el calefactor en un tomacorriente estándar. 

Una vez conectado, se encenderá la luz de encendido.

 

NOTA: Evite sobrecargar el circuito eléctrico evitando 

utilizar otro aparato de alta potencia en el mismo 

tomacorriente. A 1500 Vatios, esta unidad consume

12.5 Amperes.

4.  Active el calefactor presionando el botón Encendido  

(

) y seleccione modos y configuraciones de 

acuerdo con su preferencia. 

 

Presione el botón Encendido/Apagado para encender el 

calefactor. Una vez encendido, la temperatura del 

calefactor operará en modo 

Máxima temperatura. 

Presione el botón Encendido/Apagado para apagar de 

manera manual el calefactor cualquiera sea la 

configuración. 
NOTA: La luz de encendido eléctrica permanecerá 

iluminada mientras la unidad se encuentre conectada. 

Selección de modo 
Seleccione las configuraciones de temperatura deseada 

presionando para recorrer las configuraciones de 

temperatura. Una luz indicadora se encenderá para 

indicar que se ha activado el modo o la configuración 

seleccionada. 

El calefactor funcione continuamente a 1500 W. 

El calefactor funcione continuamente a 750W. 

El calefactor alternará entre configuraciones de 

temperatura alta (1500 W) y baja (750 W) para calentar. 

Su calefactor está equipado con un termostato digital que 

le permite configurar el calefactor a un nivel de confort 

preciso presionando el botón Termostato ( ). 
Para configurar previamente un nivel de confort, 

presione el botón Termostato ( ). para ajustar el nivel 

de temperatura entre 

65°F y 85°F. El Indicador de 

temperatura correspondiente se encenderá una vez 

seleccionado. Cuando llegue a la temperatura 

preseleccionada, el calefactor se apagará. Cuando la 

temperatura ambiente esté por debajo de la temperatura 

preestablecida, el calefactor se encenderá nuevamente de 

manera automática a fin de mantener el nivel de 

temperatura preestablecido. 
NOTA: Es normal que el calefactor se encienda y se 

apague para mantener la temperatura preestablecida. 

Aumente la configuración del termostato para evitar que 

el calefactor se apague y se encienda. 
NOTA: Para apagar el calefactor cualquiera sea la 

configuración, presione el botón Encendido (

) hasta 

que todas las luces indicadoras se apaguen. El termostato 

digital tiene memoria. Registrará la última configuración 

de temperatura antes que se apague el calefactor. Sin 

embargo, si el calefactor no está conectado, el termostato 

digital no registrará la configuración previa de 

temperatura. Deberá restablecer el termostato digital si 

se desconecta el calefactor. 

Este Calefactor viene con la función de temporizador de 

apagado automático a las 12 horas. Esto permite 

programar el calefactor para que se apague de manera 

automática luego de haber estado en funcionamiento por 

4, 8 ó 12 horas. 

1.  Presione el botón Temporizador ( ) para que sigan 

la secuencia por 4, 8 ó 12 horas. 

2.  Seleccione el intervalo deseado en el que el calefactor 

se apagará automáticamente. La luz indicadora de 

horario correspondiente se encenderá. 

3.  Para cancelar la función Temporizador, presione el 

botón Temporizador ( ) hasta se apagarán todas 

las luces indicadoras del Temporizador. 

Always unplug the heater before cleaning and allow the 

heater to cool down.

1.  Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild 

soap solution.

2.  NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean

the unit.

3.  After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit 

with a cloth or towel.

4.   Store heater in a cool, dry location.

5.   It is recommended that you store the unit in its 

original carton.

 

TIP: Over time, dust may accumulate on the grills. 

This can be removed by wiping the unit with a damp 

cloth. 

 

This heater is equipped with a technologically-advanced 

safety system that requires the user to reset the heater if 

there is a potential overheat situation. When a potential 

overheat temperature is reached, the system will 

automatically shut the heater off. It can only resume 

operation when the user resets the unit. 
If the heater shuts down: 

1.  Stand the heater upright.

2.  Unplug the heater and allow 30 minutes for the 

heater to cool down.

3.  After 30 minutes plug the heater in and operate 

normally.

4.  If the heater does not work normally, repeat steps 1, 

2 and 3 again.

Tip Over Shut-Off: 
When the heater is accidentally knocked over, it will 

instantly shut off. The heater may also shut off if it is 

moved or bumped. To reset, simply place the heater in an 

upright position, and press Power On/Off Button to 

resume operation.

CALOR

AIRE FRÍO

Siempre desenchufe el calefactor y deje que se enfríe 

antes de limpiarlo.

1.   Limpie la unidad con un paño suave, humedecido en 

una solución de jabón suave.

2.   NUNCA utilice solventes abrasivos o inflamables para 

limpiar la unidad.

3.   Luego de limpiarla, asegúrese de secar 

completamente la unidad con un trapo o toalla.

4.   Guarde el calefactor en un lugar fresco y seco.

5.   Se recomienda guardar la unidad en su embalaje 

original.

 

*CONSEJO: Con el transcurso del tiempo se 

acumulará polvo en las rejillas delanteras que puede 

eliminarse con un paño húmedo. 

 

Este calefactor está equipada con un sistema de seguridad 

tecnológicamente avanzado y que requiere que el usuario 

la reactive si se produce un recalentamiento. Si la unidad 

se recalienta, el sistema la apagará automáticamente y 

sólo podrá volver a funcionar si el usuario la reactiva 

manualmente. 
Si el calefactor se apaga: 

1.  Coloque el calefactor en forma vertical. 

2.  Desenchufe el calefactor y deje que se enfríe durante 

30 minutos.

3.  Al cabo de 30 minutos enchufe el calefactor para que 

funcione de forma normal.

4.  Si el calefactor no funciona normalmente, repita los 

pasos 1, 2 y 3 de nuevo.

Apagado de inclinación: 
Cuando el calefactor se encuentre accidentalmente 

inclinada, se apagará de manera inmediata y la luz de 

encendido eléctrica permanece iluminada. El calefactor 

también se apagará si se la mueve o golpea. Para 

restablecerlo, coloque el calefactor en posición vertical, y 

presione el botón Encendido/Apagado para comenzar a 

funcionar nuevamente.
