Basic Playback
This chapter explains the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E’s
basic playback functions.
Don’t forget to turn on your TV or projector and select
the video input to which the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E
is connected.
If you’re using an AV receiver or hi-fi amp for audio
playback, turn that on as well and select the audio input
to which the DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E is connected.

This section explains how to load discs.
Notes:
• The disc tray can be opened even while the
DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E is on Standby, so you don’t
have to turn it on to remove a disc. (The disc tray will
take slightly longer to open.)

12 cm discs. To avoid damaging your discs and the
DV-SP1000/DV-SP1000E, put the disc in the center
