Installation of hardware
With regard to the 5-port models, the mains supply adaptor connection is located at the rear. Connect the main supply adaptor and subsequently
connect the PCs or other peripherals you would like to include in your network to a free port at the rear. 
The front or top of the switch contains a number of LEDs indicating the status of the switch. These LEDs have the following functions:
LED
Colour
Status
Explanation
POWER
Green
On
This LED will be lit when connected to the power supply.

Off
This LED will be off whilst not connected to the power supply
LINK/ACT
Green
On
The port is connected to a computer
Green
Blinking
This port is busy sending or receiving data
Features
All Sweex Fast Ethernet Switch models dispose of so-called MDI-X ports. This means that you can connect all types of devices including computers,
print servers, hubs and other switches using standard UTP or STP cables.
Basic network set-up
Sweex has published an extensive explanation on its website detailing the basic set-up of a network. This set-up describes multiple situations. Go
to www.sweex.com under the product you purchased and then select the header "manual". Subsequently, click the link ending in man_all_network. 
Warranty
All articles that are carried under the name Sweex have a 3-year term of guarantee. Only the Sweex Digital photo and video cameras have a 
2-year term of guarantee. We do not provide support or warranty for the supplied software or (rechargeable) batteries.
Settlement of guarantee only takes place via the dealer where you have purchased the product in question.
