充電について

付属の充電スタンドは本機専用です。他機の充電はできません。

す。これは電池の特性によるもので、数回使えば充分充電されるようになります。

充電が終わったら、早めに本体を充電スタンドからはずし、

この製品には、付属の

ダプターを使用すると、故障の原因になることがあります。

パワーアダプターは容易に手が届くような電源コンセント

に接続し、異常が生じた場合は速やかにコンセントから抜い
てください。

取り扱いについて

•

落としたり、強いショックを与えたりしないでください。故障の原因になります。

•

リモコンやヘッドホンのコードを強く引っぱらないでください。

•

次のような場所には置かないでください。
ー温度が非常に高いところ（

℃以上）。

ー直射日光のあたる場所や暖房器具の近く。
ー窓を閉めきった自動車内（特に夏季）。
ー風呂場など湿気の多いところ。
ー磁石、スピーカー、テレビなど磁気を帯びたものの近く。
ーほこりの多いところ。

温度が高いところ（

℃以下）では液晶表示が見にくくな

ったり、表示の変わりかたがゆっくりになることがあります。常温になればもとに
戻ります。

長い間本機を使わなかったときは、

度本機を数分間再生状態にしてからお使い始め

動作中はカセットぶたを開けないでください。テープがたるみ、テープを傷めるお
それがあります。テープがたるんでしまったときは、必ずたるみを取ってから使用
してください。

長時間テープについて

分をこえるテープはなるべくお使いにならないでください。テープが非常に薄い

ため、動作が不安定になって音がゆれたり、まれに機械に巻き込まれる場合があり
ます。また、音が小さかったり、高音ののびが悪くなることがあります。

付属のヘッドホンをご使用中、肌に合わないと感じたときは早めに使用を中止して
医師またはテクニカルインフォメーションセンター、お客様ご相談センターにご相
談ください。

ヘッドホンについて

付属のヘッドホンは、音量を上げすぎると音が外に漏れます。音量を上げすぎて、ま
わりの人の迷惑にならないように気をつけましょう。
雑音の多いところでは音量を上げてしまいがちですが、ヘッドホンで聞くときはいつ
も呼びかけられて返事ができるくらいの音量を目安にしてください。

リモコンについて

付属のリモコンは本機専用です。また、他機種に付属のリモコンで本機の操作はでき
ません。

万一故障した場合は、内部を開けずにテクニカルインフォメーションセンターまたは
お買い上げ店、ソニーサービス窓口にご相談ください。

お手入れ

よい音でテープを聞くために

10時間程度使ったら、別売りのクリーニングカセット(C-1KW/CHK-1W)
でヘッド、ピンチローラーをきれいにしてください。

クリーニングカセットは指定のものをお使いください
他のクリーニングカセットを使うと故障の原因となることがあります。

本体表面が汚れたときは

水気を含ませた柔らかい布で軽くふいたあと、からぶきします。シンナー
やベンジン、アルコールは表面の仕上げを傷めますので使わないでくださ
い。

ヘッドホンおよびリモコンのプラグのお手入れについて

常によい音でお聞きいただくために、プラグをときどき柔らかい布でから
ぶきし、清潔に保ってください。汚れていると、雑音の原因になることが
あります。

端子のお手入れについて

定期的に図の各端子や充電スタンドなどの端子を綿棒や柔らかい布など
で、きれいにしてください。

Preparations

Rechargeable Battery

1 Insert the supplied rechargeable

battery NH-14WM (A) into the
rechargeable battery
compartment with correct
polarity.

2 Connect the supplied AC power

adaptor to the charging stand,
plug in the AC power adaptor to
the house current (mains).

3 Place the main unit on the

charging stand.
The CHARGE lamp will light up.
About 30 minutes of charging
will charge the battery to last
about 3 hours.
Full charging takes about 6
hours.
The CHARGE lamp will go off
when charging is complete.

You can charge the battery about
300 times.

Notes

• Do not use the unit while charging.

• The sound cannot be turned down

all the way.

When opening the cassette holder,

Using Other Functions

Adjusting Playback Mode

You can adjust the playback
direction mode (s or d) as
well as the BL SKIP mode (on or
off).

1 Press MODE repeatedly. With

each press the indications change
as follows:

BL SKIP

• When “BL SKIP” is displayed, the

tape is fast-forwarded to the next
track if there is a blank space of
longer than 12 seconds. You will
hear repeated sets of three short
beeps when skipping a blank.

• When “s” is displayed, both

sides of the tape is played
repeatedly.

• When “d” is displayed, both

sides of the tape is played once (if
you start from R (REV) side, only
REV side will be played).

Note

• You cannot adjust the playback

mode during fast-forward or
rewind.
