You can cascade various MCCAT units to organize a two‐tier KVM
switch system and expand the number of available channels accordingly.
A mix of different MCCAT models is permitted. If the two‐tier system
completely comprises the MCCAT116 models, the number of connected
computers can even be expanded up to 256 computers.

When one or multiple MCCAT units are connected to the channel ports of
a single MCCAT unit, this KVM switch system is the so‐called ʺtwo‐tier
system.ʺ The former MCCAT units belong to the second tier, and the
latter is the first tier. You can connect computers to all channel ports
available in such a system, including those of the first tier and those of the
second tier.
