* When you connect equipment equipped with a 

OPTICAL jack, set the “A. ASSIGN” in the 
AUDIO menu (page 51).

• Be sure to change the default setting of the 

 

BD/DVD input button on the remote control so that 
you can use the button to control your DVD player. 
For details, see “Reassigning the input button” 
(page 61).

• You can also rename the BD/DVD input so that it 

can be displayed on the receiver’s display panel. 
For details, see “Naming inputs” (page 37).
