Even  when  stopped  (POWER 
indicator  extinguished)  the  iPod  is 
charged.
NOTE
 
While  the  AC  adapter  plug  is 
inserted  into  the  wall  socket,  this 
unit is in the powered state. During 
absence  or  long  periods  without 
being  used,  please  withdraw  the 
adapter plug from the wall socket.
