Replacing the fuel filter
The  felt  filter  (15)  of  the  fuel  filter  can  become  clogged.
It  is  recommended  to  replace  the  fuel  filter  once  every
three months in order to ensure unimpeded fuel flow to the
carburetor.
To remove the fuel filter for replacement, pull it out through
the tank filler neck using a piece of wire bent at one end to
form a hook.

Cleaning the cylinder area
After prolonged use, dirt and sawdust can build up on the cylin-
der and cause the engine to overheat. The cylinder fin cleaner
helps remove deposits between the cylinder fins and between
the cylinder and the mounting plate.
Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye protection
when cleaning the filter with compressed air!
The entire area (14) can now be brushed clean or cleaned with
compressed air.
A bottle brush can come in handy for cleaning out the cylinder
ribs.
With the cyinder ribs cleaner (only in delivery for model PS-
505, PS-505 H), clean out the area between the cylinder
ribs and between the cylinder and the mounting plate.
Do not use force. Be careful not to damage the short-circuit
wire and the ignition wire.
