a Platen Glass

Place originals here when scanning books, thick 
originals, thin originals, transparencies, etc.

b Toner Replacement Cover

Open this cover to replace the toner cartridge.

c Front Cover

Open this cover to clear a paper jam in the fixing 
unit (Unit 1) and duplexing unit (Unit 2). (See 
"Main Unit (Fixing Unit and Duplexing Unit)," on 
p. 8-15.)

d Fixing Unit (Unit 1)

Pull out the fixing unit to clear a paper jam. (See 
"Main Unit (Fixing Unit and Duplexing Unit)," on 
p. 8-15.)

e Duplexing Unit (Unit 2)

Pull out the duplexing unit to clear a paper jam.

f Test Button

Press this button to periodically test the circuit 
breaker.

g Breaker

Detects excess current or leakage current. (See
