This Kindle meets RF exposure guidelines when positioned at least 0.39 of an inch (1.0 

cm) away from the body.  Amazon sells Kindle-branded accessories that can be used 

to position the device at least 0.39 of an inch (1.0 cm) away from the body. 

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the 

following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference; and (2) 
this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may 

cause undesired operation.
